The board has taken a position against a rezone request for the Padden Trails development south of Connelly Avenue. The developers want to change the density from single family residential to multi-family residential, thus increasing the number of units from 210 houses to 492 houses, townhouses, duplexes and the like. The Planning Commission will hold a public hearing at 7 p.m., Dec. 1, to review the rezone request for Padden Trails. The meeting is in the City Council chambers, 210 Lottie Street.
