Old Business

Presidents Comments: Greg noted there is a proposal to change the driveway access to some of the lots being developed in Wildwood. A map was handed out as a reference. Our SNA website has been updated to reflect minutes and bylaws. The newsletter will also be highlighted on site. Trinn asked BOD members to add their bio like Emily has.

Approval of July 2010 Minutes: Approved unanimously following change of the issue of Fireworks ban being brought up by Clay Butler, not by the Anderson’s.

Treasurer’s Report: Tim was not present to report.

MNAC: Greg did not attend the meeting this month nor did Eric. Dick asked for MNAC meetings to be released sooner for review.

SNA Tax Status: Membership vote planned for September General Meeting. Information on the issue will be in the newsletter and is currently posted on the website.

Good Neighbor/Business Award: Trinn’s article was reviewed in the newsletter.

New Business

Sign Modification: Garey has measured the sign and it will fit at the sign for the Elwood and Samish sign only.

Picnic Preparations: Signs need to be put out September 1st. Tim Wynn will be contacted to contact sign holders to place out. Ginny will gather supplies and contact others if she needs assistance. Emily will contact her neighbor Marty Carter who works at Sysco on the donation of burgers or other picnic supplies. Ginny asked for a volunteer to take care of the 2011 picnic due to Kin and her heading to Alaska for a trip.

Newsletter: BOD reviewed newsletter and edited. We’ll continue to consider alternatives to 2X a year newsletter such as postcard announcement of newsletter, or 1X per year newsletter depending on cost and funding of outside sources.

For the Good of the Neighborhood: Greg thanked the BOD for supporting the purchase of flowers for Shirley’s loss of her husband Dar.
